Stretching is an essential component to maintaining optimum health.  It supports our joints and muscles as well as our emotional health by reducing stress levels in the body while allowing the body to release stress withing the muscles. 

Assisted stretching uses specific techniques to increase mobility and flexibility of a muscle or group of muscles in order to reduce and eliminate pain  and stress, improve posture and circulation, and provide overall lighter feeling in the body.  It is a gentle technique that can be used with children, adults, the elderly and those with physical disabilities. Being assisted with stretching allows a safe and deeper stretch, effectively and without injury.  A typical session will include an extensive assessment of an individual’s physical health looking at a person’s range of motion, flexibility, limitations, alignment, pain and discomfort levels.
